Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid is a hydrophilic beta-oxy acid that penetrates deeply into the upper layers of the skin and effectively exfoliates the stratum corneum.
With its fat-soluble nature, it reaches the sebaceous glands where it regulates sebum production and reduces the buildup of keratin and sebum inside the pores.
It has a mild disinfecting and anti-inflammatory effect, ideal for treating inflamed lesions without irritating the skin.
Suitable for all skin types – especially dry skin, hyperkeratinized skin, acne-prone skin, clogged pores and flaking. Can also be used on the back, knees and elbows.
Effective against age-related changes, papulopustular acne, epidermal hypermelanosis and rosacea – with documented antibacterial effect.
